Pear is a very refreshing fruit and it has many nutritional benefits as well. It contains antioxidants and helps to boost immune system.
This salad is very refreshing and the apple cider vinegar gives a very tangy twist to it. I use fresh mixed greens as base, you can choose your own favorite.
Serves – 2 Portions
Pear – 2 Medium
Mixed Salad Greens – 1 Cup
Feta Cheese – 20 Grams
Roasted Almonds – 10 to 15
Pomegranate seeds – For Garnish
Maple Syrup – 2 Tablespoons
Olive Oil – 1 Teaspoon
Dijon Mustard – 1 Teaspoon
Apple Cider Vinegar – 1 Teaspoon
Black Pepper – 3.4 Teaspoon (Crushed)
Salt – To Taste
First start making salad dressing by adding Maple syrup, olive oil, dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, black pepper and salt in a bowl, mix well, keep aside.
Roughly chop mix salad greens by hand, take a salad bowl put these greens in base. Cut Pear in slices add along with roughly crushed roasted almonds and add feta cheese on top. Before serving add dressing on top and garnish with pomegranate seeds, enjoy.
