Pizza On Pan

Since i have started making pizza at home, i stopped eating pizzas outside as they are very easy to make as well as you can choose your own toppings and flavor.

img_5509This recipe does not need yeast and it doesn’t even need oven. It can be made in gas stove and that too very quick. Here is the recipe

Serves – 2 Portions

For Pizza Base

Flour – 2.5 Cups

Yogurt – 3 Tablespoons

Baking Powder – Half Teaspoon

Baking Soda – 1 Pinch

Sugar – 1 Teaspoon

Oil – 1 Tablespoon

Salt – To taste

For Pizza Sauce 

Tomato – 3 (Medium)

Garlic – 3 Cloves

Olive oil – 1 Tablespoon

Basil – Half Tablespoon (Dry)

Oregano – Half Tablespoon

Sugar – Half Tablespoon

Salt – To Taste


Mozzarella Cheese – 50 Grams

Corn Kernels  –  2 Tablespoons

Capsicum – Half Cup(Chopped)

Black Olives – 2 Tablespoons


First start with making pizza dough by adding flour, yogurt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in a bowl, by adding water knead the dough. Keep this dough for 6 to 7 hour before making pizza and knead this dough for at least 10 minutes before using until it become smooth and elastic.

For pizza sauce chop tomato and make puree. Heat olive oil in pan finally chop garlic and add in olive oil, after 30 sec add pureed tomato and cook for sometime. Now add dry basil, oregano, sugar and salt, after 10 minutes, switch off the gas and keep aside.

Now take medium size ball of dough and roll it with rolling pin in round shape. In a pan brush some olive oil and cook one side, make sure it is not too thick, or else it will not get cooked. Flip this other side and spread pizza sauce, mozzarella, capsicum, corn, black olives or any other topping of your choice, cover it with lid, let the cheese melt and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Cut it in triangle shape, serve.
