Spaghetti With White Sauce

I love Italian food, specially white sauce pasta. I like creamy thick white cream on top of my pasta, doesn’t matter if it is penne pasta or spaghetti.


I was trying to make white sauce since long and it took time for me to understand the right quantity of the ingredients in the recipe, so lets start making this delicious recipe

Serves – 1 to 2


Spaghetti – 100 grams

For white sauce: Butter – 2 tablespoon

flour – 2 tablespoon

Garlic (Crushed)  – 3 to 4 cloves

Milk – 1 Cup + (as you need)

Cheese (grated) – half cup (i used cheddar cheese)

Oregano – 1 teaspoon

Crushed Black pepper – half teaspoon

Salt – to taste


First start with cooking the spaghetti with the directions given on the pack, drain and keep aside.

Now start making sauce take a pan on stove and start melting the butter, add garlic, do not brown garlic, stir till the raw smell is gone, now add flour mix well, cook until the raw smell is gone. Now slowly add milk, keep on stirring the mixture to avoid lumps.

Now add pepper, oregano and salt, keep stirring until mixture becomes thick. Add grated cheese, mix till melt.Sauce is ready.

Now add the cooked spaghetti and toss well in the sauce. Transfer in serving plate, sprinkle some oregano and black pepper, serve.
