You want a wholesome break fast or a healthy dessert, this quick parfait can be your option. Parfait is originated from France and it has many variations, and in Canada and America they make it with fresh fruits, granola and yogurt layers.
I have made some changes in boring simple yogurt with some addition of cream cheese and vanilla essence. This is very filling and full of energy breakfast, you can serve it as dessert too.
Ingredient
Chilled Yogurt – 250 grams
Cream Cheese – 2 tablespoons
Vanilla essence – few drops
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
Fresh pitted Cherries – 250 grams
Blueberries (or any other berries) – 100 grams
Mint leaves – for garnish
Method
In a bowl mix yogurt, cream cheese, vanilla essence and sugar, whisk well until sugar dissolve in the mixture.
Take a tall glass for serving, make a layer of blueberries and pitted cherries, the add yogurt mixture, make a layer, again make berries and cherries layer, now finally add yogurt mixture to top the glass. now you have four layers visible in the glass. Garnish with some cherries and mint leaves, serve immediately.
