This restaurant is located in Movenpick Hotel and Apartments, Dubai, it serves international cuisine and located just when you enter the Hotel lobby. Since this Hotel is located in one of very busy roads of Dubai, I crossed this many times but couldn’t try the place out, but very recently I went to try the place out for Iftaar buffet, and I simply loved it

Ambiance is very lavish, blend of classic and contemporary interiors, give this place a very stylish look. As I have mentioned Fountain is located in the lobby just when you enter the Hotel. The restaurant area is huge; they cover almost all the area for the buffet spread, big groups can get accommodated very easily. Service is good too, but need little improvement

Since it was Iftaar Buffet, many Arabic influenced dishes were in the option, SALAD STATION is really huge, CHEESE STATION surprised me in the buffet, you get many varieties to go for

I started with LANTIL SOUP, it was simple but delicious, SHAWARMA was made in thin wrap, and tasted divine. BAKED CHEESE MACARONI could have been better, simple yet tasty ROASTED POTATO. I liked SEEKH KEBAB the most, FISH IN WHITE SAUCE made with perfection as fish was cooked perfectly. In Indian section DAHI CHAAT impressed me the most

I liked all the Indian selection in the main course. CHICKEN CURRY was going good with roti. MIX VEG was very light, less spicy still very delicious. You have simple DAAL AND RICE in option too, thick daal taste very authentic. In iftaar menu you get to choose different fruit juices and JALLAB as well. SALAD and SIDES station is really huge and have many options to go for

In buffet many bread variety is available, desserts section has Arabic and International options available. MAHALABIA was traditional and tasted divine. Light and fruity MANGO MOUSSE, very traditiona UMAALI, different yet delicious ITALIAN CAKE. Apart from this PEACH TART, COFFEE CAKE, DATE CAKE and many other selections were there for sweet lovers

Final Verdict – I thoroughly enjoyed lavish Iftaar buffet at Fountain. The spread is wide with many varieties to go for, specially salad and side section will not fail to impress you. The ambiance is huge as well as the interior is soothing. They serve Friday brunch with much more options. This place is ideal for family get together and small gathering.
