Ashiana – I always know that Ashiana is a known name in terms of Indian fine dine restaurants. After serving for many years this restaurant is relaunched for the guests in much better way. Recently i dined in and i loved everything they served on our table, in every aspect.
It is tucked in Shareton creek hotel, this hotel it self is very old and famous. Ashiana has very authentic Indian touch all around it. The service staff is wearing Indian outfits which gives a real good traditional feel. Service here is very prompt and staff is very active.
We started with RASPBERRY PINACOLADA which is a real refreshing drink to go for. Then MANGO LASSI has really good flavours and it is thick and delicious. We were served PRAWNS it tasted really very delicious and it was served with DHOKLA WITH CHUTNEY.
Moving ahead IDLI CHAAT was served on out table, which they gave a live demonstration of making, the idli was baked and loved the crispness of it. In mains we were served with CHICKEN HANDI i loved the fresh flavours of this gravy, it was perfect treat.
In starters we were also served with BANANA LEAF BAKED KONKANI COD coconut peanut crust cod in Maharashtrian style, very nice, i loved the different fusion. Also in the platter i like the BHARWAN SEEKH KEBAB filled with masala cheese, very innovative and the flavours are amazing.
In desserts we got MOTICHOOR LADDO it was little sweet for me, laddo was covered with yogurt foam, i liked how different it was. Then the MANGO KULFI was my favourite amongst all. BLUEBERRY PHIRNI was a good twist to phirni. I also enjoyed the GULAB JAMUN CHEESECAKE.
Final Verdict – What a delicious Indian treat a Ashiana. The live music played in front of you gives a more close feel to India, where they sing all famous old tracks. I liked the most was the prompt service. Chefs have put so much effort to bring the menu out successfully.
