Ichikura – Japanese cuisine is very extensive and flavourful in term of every expect. I expect this cuisine to be served in very fine dining place with so many variety of the food. Ichikura is changing the perception of this fine dine restaurant and serving it in to a food court.
Ibn Batutta is coming up with many new restaurants as the food court is new. Ichikura is one of those names added in the food court. The outlet is very catchy and has really good options to go for. I liked the small menu, but the options are so many to try them out.
I started with the EDAMAME it is my favourite and here they were perfectly salted. I also liked EBI FRY which is fried panko prawns, very crispy and yummy. I also liked TAKOYAKI which is crunchy octopus balls, very delicious. Also GYOZA is available in chicken and veg.
Since they are serving ramen bowl and i tried HOKKAIDO MISO which is very simple with miso broth, i liked this comfort food bowl. I also tried TEBASAKI which is Japanese style buffalo wings, very delicious. CALIFORNIA MAKI i loved the simple flavours in the maki.
Final Verdict – The concept of serving Japanese cuisine in fine dine restaurant is now changing with Ichikura. A small outlet in the food court has many options to try in ramen bowls, maki and others. I liked how the food is fresh and has really good variety in the menu. The presentation is definitely very good and done well.
