Chinese cuisine is very light but very flavorful cuisine. Fried rice is again a very simple rice dish but addition of vegetables and meat can enhance the flavors.
I am making vegetable fried rice, you can add chicken chunks or egg as well as per your liking. I personally like it with Manchurian gravy. Here is the recipe
Serving – 2 to 3 Portions
Ingredients
Rice – 1 Cup (Cooked)
Soy Sauce – 2 Tablespoons
Tomato Ketchup – 1 Tablespoon (Optional)
Garlic – 2 Cloves (Chopped)
Spring Onion – 1 Long (Chopped)
Carrot – 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
Capsicum – 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
Cabbage – 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Black Pepper – Half Teaspoon
Salt – To Taste
Method
Heat oil in a pan add chopped garlic and spring onion, saute for some time, now add chopped carrot, capsicum and cabbage, saute for 2 to 3 minutes add salt and pepper.
Now add soy sauce and tomato ketchup, mix well. Now add cooked rice and mix every thing well transfer in the serving dish, serve with Manchurian gravy.
