Bruschetta is a very well known starter and its root is from Italy. Many variations can be done on a piece of bread with your favorite meat, veggies and spreads.
I like to keep it simple, but in recent kitchen experiment i tried tomato and mint topping along with some cheese spread and it turned out really good.
Serving – 2 Portions
Ingredients
Bruschetta Bread – 1 (Long)
Ripe Tomato – 1 (Big)
Fresh mint leaves – 1 Handful
Cream Cheese – To spread on bread
Olive oil – 1 Tablespoon
Black Pepper – Half Teaspoon
Salt – To Taste
Method
First start with chopping tomatoes, and mint leaves, add both in a bowl, add olive oil, salt and pepper, mix well.
Now cut bruschetta bread in 1 cm thick slices, take a flat pan, toast bread slices, if you want you can toast with some butter, now spread cream cheese, and put chopped tomato and mint mix on top of bread.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves, serve immediately.
It looks fancy and delicious 🙂
