Since my roots are Indian, I can’t help but love Indian food and I always look for new restaurants in town serving best of Indian gastronomy. Located in Palm Jumeirah Arjee Bhaaje is already talk of the town by serving finger licking curries and scrumptious Indian preparations. I was very intrigued to visit Arjee Bhajee, here is the glimpse of my experience.

Menu is small and has reflection of north India. I have nothing special to talk about the interiors, it could have been more peppy and colorful, though some interesting elements like graffiti wall and colorful tiffin’s couldn’t bring that punch to the look of the restaurant. I would rather call it gloomy. Service is prompt and serving staff is friendly.

I had joys to indulge in CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA perfectly cooked chicken pieces barbequed in a mild flavored marination, loved it. My inner seafood love couldn’t control trying TANDOORI PRAWNS & it was one of my favorite from the entire meal, mild yogurt base marinated utterly cooked prawns was a delicious choice.

After a good start we were all geared up for the mains, BUTTER CHICKEN was a mild gravy along with perfect balance of essential spices, it was a perfect combination with tandoori naan.

An Indian meal is incomplete without sweet in the end hence we picked GULAB JAMUN, warm deep fried milk balls soaked in sugar syrup is unmatchable dessert. Second must try is the range of KULFI from the menu. Mango, pista and malai kulfi is perfect to end the meal.
