Peppermill is a casual dining restaurant offering Indian cuisine with inventive recipes and alluring flavors to stimulate the palate and gratify the senses. The Peppermill journey started from Abu Dhabi and now also located in Dubai, and Ras Al Khaima too. Ambiance unveils the true Indian culture, as the interiors is inspired by Mughal era, the colors are very subtle. The menu is very interesting and has pictures included of the dishes. Service is prompt.
As soon as we settled down outside, to catch up the fountain show, we were served with DRY BHEL PURI and EGGPLANT ICE CREAM both amuse bouche tasted really nice. To quench our thirst we ordered KULFI LASSI I simply loved the presentation and taste. MANGO MARGHERITTA is very refreshing.
We ordered TOMATO SHORBA interesting presentation with butter poached veggies and raisin ratatouille in a bowl then poured with tomato & coriander soup poured on it. PRAWN SHORBA served with prawn bisque, poached prawns, coconut, it is true comfort in a bowl, served with homemade khari.
From salad section FATTOUSH ALA INDIE is true fusion of Arabic and Indian flavors, with sumac & balsamic dressing. KATAIFI PRAWNS crisp fried kataifi wrapped prawns served with mango chili salsa, and salad, delicious. PEPPERMILL CHAAT PLATTER has all quintessential street style chaat in one platter.
THE NEST is interesting preparation of masala pea crusted chicken dumplings, with sweet & sour flavors. Now moving to mains we tried MATAR PANEER a big block of paneer stuffed with peas and cut on the table, loved the flavors. PONDICHERRY SEAFOOD CURRY is a bliss for seafood lovers, creamy and yummy
NALLI ROGANJOSH is must try for mutton lovers, braised baby lamb shanks curry from Kashmir with fennel, Kashmir chili and yogurt stew, is a perfect blend. All this accompany with DUM CHICKEN BIRYANI, very flavorful and delicious, served with raita to enhance the taste of biryani.
To end this delicious meal we tried THE SWEET SHOP it has KESARI RASMALAI, very traditional, COCONUT CREAM AND PEPPERCORN PANACOTTA creamy and delicious. And GULAB JAMUN made with perfection, the flavors were intact in each and every dessert, don’t leave without trying dessert.
Final Verdict – Peppermill surely endures the best service, ambiance, view and food. The quality and quantity will not disappoint you as a guest. Love the authentic Indian food with slight twist.
