The name speaks it all that it must be a royal restaurant where you will find reflection of beautiful city Jodhpur in India. I am short in word to express how intrigued i was to visit here. I can say i tried the best fusion and innovation in food where my experience was amazing as i almost went back in my childhood, thanks to Chef Pradeep Khullar and team

Though there is nothing to do with food from Jodhpur but ambiance surely justify the name strongly. Blue color is used in the pillars along with some golden hint with authentic Indian carving done beautifully. I visited in the day time and the ambiance outside is satisfying. Service is prompt and staff takes care of the table in every interval.

We were served with pre starters JEERA KHARI WITH HERB YOGURT this surely will remind tea time with khari, the herb yogurt with pink peppercorns is amazing in taste. In Amuse bouche we were served with MACAROON CHAAT very innovative macaroon stuffed with tangy filling & served as chaat with all the elements like sweet, sour, crunchy, chewy.

In starters we tried ACHARI JHINGA Pan grilled tiger prawns marinated in lemon pickle marinade & served with beetroot carpaccio, delicious and delectable. CHICKEN AND CHESTNUT KULCHA Mixture of Chicken Tikka & Water Chestnuts spiked with Caramelised Onions stuffed kulcha & cooked in tandoor. Served with Sumac Laban, delectable

Moving ahead we had DESI PESTO KEBAB Coriander, Green Chillies & Basil pesto galette stuffed with Raisins & Cream Cheese. Grilled & topped with Popcorn chutney, it melts in your mouth literally. RAAN Several hours braised lamb leg & finished in tandoor marinated with Chipotle Cream coated with 23 Karat edible gold leaves, delectable.

The palate cleanser is presented very differently MANGO, CRANBERRY & KAFIR LIME SORBET  Served in toy pressure cooker made with Fresh Alphonso puree spiked with kaffir lime leaves & de-hydrated cranberries. MINIATURE PAO BHAJI Slow cooked vegetables with spices & mashed till puree is attained, with miniature garlic pao, perfect in taste.

BUTTER LOBSTER WITH KONKANI CURRY Tandoor cooked lobsters served over Goan red rice & topped up with curry made with tamarind pulp & jaggery spiked up with Konkani Chillies, delectable. FAUX DAL MAKHANI the twist is that instead of black urad dal they used moong daal, no compromise in the taste but very light at the end, superb and yummy

Also MURGH MASKA Classic butter chicken simmered in tomatoes based gravy laced with butter & cream, we almost finished it, it was very authentic in taste. CHUR CHUR KULCHA Crisp Kulcha stuffed with cottage cheese, onions, chiiles & cumin seeds cooked in tandoor & crushed with hands, it accompany best every gravy specially murgh maska.

Now to end such lavish meal dessert should be lavish too, i found strong fusion even in the desserts too. LOTUS TREACLE TART inspired by harry potter, classic British Trecle tart flavoured with Belgian Lotus biscuits, served with salted butter scotch ice cream. Every flavor tasted amazing and delectable the lotus and butter scotch combination is great.

SAFFRON JALEBI WITH MASCARPONE RABRI Crisp miniature Jalebis accompanied with Mascarpone Rabdi dangling from a metal tree inspired from Cherry blossoms. CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT MALAI TORTE German Torte made with Hazelnut Praline & reminds you of Ferrero Rocher, served with strawberry & basil gelato, innovative.

Final Verdict – This delectable treat was not just meal but a memory to cherish. Chef Pradeep Khullar and team has bought such innovative preparations on your table to enjoy. Every dish has a story behind it and not just that you literally cherish it  as patron. Splendid ambiance and delectable food, Jodhpur is highly recommended.
