Operation Falafel-So since i am a falafel lover, i had to try this place since long, and my recent visit was worth waiting this long as my experience was superb. Operation falafel has many outlets in Dubai and some of them are recently opened. I visited Downtown outlet which is also new but doing really well already.

The ambiance of this place is very contemporary and beautiful. I loved the black and white wall and the lamp mason jars in some places arranged beautifully which was enhancing the looks. The most wonderful thing is the spacious tables and comfortable chairs also area of the restaurant itself is very huge.

We started with OPRRATION FALAFEL SALAD a unique mix of falafel and greens with tahini, filling and delicious. HUMMUS was not up to the mark, i was expecting smooth texture which was missing in it. STUFFED FALAFEL tasted great with onion and pine nut filling inside which was served with tahina sauce, it is must have.

To accompany all this we ordered SPICY POTATO simple fried potato with chili, coriander with lemon juice on top which gave tangy flavor and it was served with warm and fresh PITA BREAD. Also we ordered ZAATAR AND CHEESE MANAEESH tasted really very delicious, i liked both of them but cheese is my favorite.

Now my favorite part and that is dessert, we started with MUHALABIA this is my favorite arabic dessert, creamy, smooth textured milk pudding, yummy. OF LOTUS CRUST which was with blueberry, i somehow didn’t understand the combination. CHOCOLATE & BANANA MANOUSHEH is like chocolate pizza, must have.

Final Verdict – As i have mentioned that this place was pending since long and my wait was totally worth. The interior of this place is so pretty and it makes it very instagram worthy. Service is prompt and staff is polite as well. For falafel lovers i guess this place is a must try, you have so much to explore.
