My experience at Award winning Thai restaurant with alluring skyline view and little sneak of Burj Khalifa was simply stunning. Benjarong serves authentic Thai cuisine and also highlighting traditional old recipes straight from various places of Thailand. This surely was one of the unique experience as everything has details to know.

The majestic interiors of the restaurant is very catchy and you have royal inspired look in every corner of the restaurant. One beautiful lady playing Khim (Thai traditional instrument) in one corner and the music is very soothing. The pillars inside has real gold leaf. Service is prompt and the menu is set beautifully.

We started with COCONUT WATER which came with cute flower in top, coconut water was fresh and had natural sweetness in it. Also ordered POR PIA SAVOEY deep fried veg sping rolls served with plum sauce, tasted good. We also ordered GOONG HOM SA BAI shrimp wrapped in rice paper and deep fried and served with plum sauce, delicious.

I wanted to try some light salad and YUM SOM O was recommended by the staff and it tasted great too, Pomelo salad with shredded chicken, shrimp, coconut flake, fried onion with chili oil dressing, yummy. SOM TUM THAI was actually green papaya salad with spicy lime dressing along with veggies, i was expecting more sharp flavors.

For mains we stuck to the classic THAI RED CURRY with STEAMED RICE. Curry had sharp yet subtle flavors in it and it tasted great with steamed rice. My most favorite was GOONG PHAD NAM PRIG PAO stir fried lightly battered prawns with onion, bell pepper, mushroom and basil leaves along with chili paste, this dish is a must have for seafood lovers.

After this satisfactory authentic meal a authentic dessert was needed and a classic KHAO NEAW MAMUANG can be the best dessert to end this meal, it was sticky rice flavor with pandanus and served with mango. Oh my god, what a beautiful dessert, flavored sticky rice topped with thick coconut milk and it tasted great with fresh mango.

Final Verdict – Wow, what an experience, just like a royal family of Thailand with traditional ambiance and authentic flavors. I could steal Burj Khalifa view from some corners of the restaurant and i enjoyed it with prompt service. If you want to unfold authentic Thai flavors i highly recommend this place.
