Riso – I am always intrigued to try new eateries and recently I tried newly open joint in Oud metha, Riso. It is introducing vegetarian Italian food with a slight twist of Indian flavors, with all my high expectations I tried this place and I must say I am visiting again.

Ambiance is very colorful where bright colors are used beautifully. More of like a cozy Italian home, you will instantly fall in love with the interiors. Service staff is very friendly and service is very prompt. Menu is quite elaborate, but I think they are working on it.

We started with MUSHROOM CAPPUCCINO soup, first of all, they made it look exactly like a cappuccino cup, and creamy mushroom soup is perfect for the cold weather. ASPARAGUS SOUP was equally good and tasted delicious, it is less creamy and yummy.

I could stop myself ordering NACHOS this is the best thing you can ever have, the toppings are poured right on your table, so you can customize it, perfect. SUTEE MUSHROOM you cannot miss to try this out, a non-mushroom lover like me also fall in love with it.

I asked then for the best of their pizza and pasta and chef made sure to serve the best on my table. PASTA was creamy and wholesome, you can customize or ask for the best. PIZZA crust was thin and perfect amount of toppings and cheese made it drool worthy.

Desserts are must and I tried CHEESE CAKE it is house made and served with a scoop of ice cream, loved it. And MUD CAKE is perfect treat for the chocolate lovers, every bite is yum. I highly recommend Riso for Italian and Mexican food lovers.
