Every Monday Vii Dubai turns it’s stunning terrace into a live music jazz den. Guests are invited to relax in the fully air-conditioned secret garden and escape the long, hot day while listening to soulful classic covers by amazing local talents, Bass Mic and Josh McCartney.

Bass Mic, made up of vocalist Sara Tarabulsi and guitarist Steve Bedford, have been resident performers of Vii LOVE SOUL since the early 2017. However, for the new season Bass Mic have joined forces with the phenomenal Josh McCartney, who has gained notoriety in the region with his Ed Sheeran style performances.  This dynamic combination of musical talent and the gorgeous Vii Terrace has created an enchanting live music session.

About Bass Mic     : 

Bass Mic are a versatile duo featuring the delicate vocals of Sara Tarabulsi and multi-instrumental capabilities of Steve Bedford. Sara and Steve are an extremely talented pair and have played many large scale events including this year’s Comic Con. Utilizing live looping to create an engaging performance and big sound, Bass Mic’s smooth tones bring another dimension to the Vii Terrace every Monday.

About Josh McCartney:

From Outback Australia to Nashville Tennessee, the glittering nightlife of London to the desert sands of the Middle East, the talented Josh McCartney brings a wealth of experience like few before him. After touring Australia earlier this year, 50 gigs in 50 days, Josh then toured west to east coast America with the majority of shows being in country music capital Nashville Tennessee. Josh took his show on the road for the summer to tour the London circuit and then he returned home to perform in Australia’s major cities. Josh has since arrived back in Dubai as a freelance musician to do what he does best! Josh covers all tastes of music from soulful classics to chart hits, 6 nights a week.
