Mumbai is a city, Bombay is an emotion – what a strong phrase. The real Indian culture is visible in its food. Being from India, I am always looking for good street food joints in Dubai. Thankfully I found one, and that is Bombay Times. Nestled in narrow lanes of Mina bazar, this small joint will steal your heart.
We started with ALOO TIKKI CHAT and PANI PURI in both the dishes balance of spices were perfect with right amount of sour and sweet flavours. Then we moved to PAV BHAJI it need a special mention as it was flavorful and yummy in taste. I can say this is the best I have till now in Dubai.
BOMBAY GRILL CHEESE SANDWICH is stomach filling and spicy treat for your taste buds, love the balance of right flavours in every bite. We also tried JINI DOSA a cut dosa stiffed with special masala and topped with right amount of cheese, served with two types of chutney, just perfect for two people.
In dessert we had SHRIKHAND subtle sweetness with slight sourness of yogurt is all about this dessert, loved every bite of it. I must say I will always keep Bombay times in my mind whenever I am nearby. Highly recommended.
