KIZA is the first authentic pan-African restaurant in Dubai. The moment you enter the restaurant you are welcome with warmth African hospitality. Located in one of the most happening location DIFC Kiza is one destination where the food is served from different regions of Africa.
Not only the food but also interior reflects the strong and vibrant African culture. With Afro jazz live band to open bar everything make a guest comfortable and give close to home feel. I started with a drink called ADUNI a cery popular in house with strong mix of vodka and dark rum, loved the presentation. One more vodka based concoction called ZANZIBARI was a perfect pick with the meal.
In soup i thoroughly enjoyed the BEAN SOUP straight from the East Africa lived the silky texture if it. GOAT PEPPER SOUP is a flavorful meat broth with traditional spices is Nigerian delicacy on the table. I also enjoyed KIZA SALAD loved the hint of mango and COUSCOUS SALAD simplicity is the main ingredient. BBQ CHICKEN WINGS is must try for wings lovers. The wings are tossed in signature sauce.
We moved to mains and tried signature dish KIZA PRINCESS whole oven fresh sea bream with egg plant, enjoyed the fresh flavors. PERI PERI PRAWNS generous portion of prawns with signature peri peri sauce. GITHERI VEG STEW traditional stew made with seasonal vegetables served with bread, is bliss for vegetarians. Also CHICKEN SUYA grilled chicken marinated with suya powder is very delicious and flavorful.
Dessert were very simple and traditional. PUFF PUFF deep fried dough with butter scotch sauce, delicious. MALVA PUDDING apricot pudding served with fresh vanilla custard is the must try dessert to end lavish meal.
