Germans take Oktoberfest very seriously !! It is no less then a festival month with lots of fun, food, beer and friends. Thought only Oktoberfest existed? Well, the Germans are always up for a good party, and where there’s a party, there’s plenty of great food and drinks!

Maifest is the traditional German celebration that marks the arrival of spring and it is back where it belongs; at Grand Hyatt Dubai for a fifth year running.

The tent was set in garden, filled with  beers, cheers, oompah, Lederhosen and pretzels that you’d expect. Dance and sing along to the tunes of the “Die Kirchdorfer” band, flown in all the way from Munich to help celebrate spring at Grand Hyatt Dubai.

We were served by traditionally dressed waiters and waitresses completing the authentic atmosphere, as you would in Germany. The à la carte menu has lot many variety to go for, this is a place for the pork lovers. I ordered traditional PRETZEL was soft fresh. ROASTED CHICKEN very authentic and cheese platter.

Yes and keep some room for desserts as i tried BLACK FOREST CAKE WITH CHERRIES very soft and delicious and CHEESECAKE very creamy and mouthwatering. It was surely a place to be and enjoy with friends.
