Awani – Dubai is serving almost all the cuisines and now the very new Levantine cuisine has opened its door through Awani. Levantine cuisine is traditional cuisine of Levant. It is very much related to Arabic cuisine. Awani serves all the best flavors and dishes on table to feast on.

The restaurant has very beautiful indoor interiors, and also outdoor interiors. The view of Dubai fountain is enough to enjoy the good weather in Dubai. The menu is very vast and designed beautifully with colorful pictures. The service staff is very trained and quick.

I started with PAPAYA JAR SALAD in a big jar layers of papaya, lettuce, pineapple, red beans with chef’s special dressing, the flavors were a bit confusing for me, but I kind of liked the presence of fruits in the salad. Also HUMMUS with pita bread tasted very fresh and delicious.

Moving ahead BATATA HARRA was packed with spices like coriander, spices and garlic, loved it. In mains I enjoyed the CHARGRILLED TIGER PRAWNS the platter served with chunk of fries and veggies, the prawns were perfectly cooked and coated with the perfect spices.

In desserts MANGO KUNAFE was a huge plate of kunafe flavored with mango, the cheese was in perfect quantity, and the sweetness was subtle. I liked the quantity was perfect and it tasted amazing.

Final Verdict – My experience at Awani was really good where I explored Levantine cuisine. The dishes are flavorful and service is remarkable. The ambiance is very pretty too.
