Merletto – Italians take their food very seriously and you will experience this at Merletto, where every Wednesday Italian festa is celebrated. A set menu is given to the guest where the options are overwhelming. The restaurant ambiance is very classy and romantic touch is given with hanging bulb string. The service is prompt so the presentation of the food is visually attractive.
While we were waiting for the mains a platter of MOZZARELLA STICK, PRAWN & ARANCINI served piping hot, loved the dip with this platter. I enjoyed the most was BEAN SOUP it had the a blend of tomato and bean soup both, perfect to enhance the appetite. MARGARITA PIZZA is full of flavors.
The festa buffet has Antipasti spread, one main course and dessert option. The antipasti has tomato and cheese salad, bruschetta, prawns and different types of breads. In the mains I chose PAN SEARED SEABASS ON BEANS & SPINACH BRETH loved the infusion of all the elements in the dish.
In desserts we chose a very traditional TIRAMISU a creamy and coffee classic dessert can’t go wrong to impress you, loved this flavor packed dessert. But PANACOTTA had over powering berry taste which made it a bit extra sour. I enjoyed the SICILIAN CANOLI tasted very delicious. For 140 per person this deal is a steal.
