Gunaydin is all about fresh, made from scratch home style Turkish food with very warm and welcoming hospitality. The first step in the restaurant make you fall in love with this restaurant. A place for perfect date evening or celebrate a special occasion, Gunaydin can make it worth.

First of all the ambiance, very live, open kitchen, top quality, fresh meat hanging around the restaurant, chefs preparing food, makes it look like you are in some food fair. The quality of food is assured by the choice and kind of food they have. With super quick service the food will surely steal your heart. The menu is set beautifully, where authentic food of Turkey is listed to enjoy.

We started with cold mezze like HUMMUS, very fresh HYDARI which is yogurt, garlic and dill with very fresh PITA BREADS. I totally enjoyed the MEAT PIDE minced meat, cheese and herbs, makes you drool over it. In the menu i was impressed with the salad variety and i tried ROKA & CEVIZ SALATASI with beetroot, walnut and white cheese, loved how fresh the salad was, very delicious.

We were also served by the HELEP which is pita bread topped with minced meat, onion and garlic, loved how the server cut the pita bread in front of you, delectable. ADANA KEBEB which is one of my favourite Turkish kebab is out of this world, just some right amount of lamb fat, and some Turkish herbs, makes these kebab worth a try, love how they gave fun demonstration on the table.

Now i will directly jump on the desserts, i love Turkish desserts, they are lip smacking and drool worthy. We were served with KATMER which is crispy baked pastry filled with pistachio and served with vanilla ice cream, the presence of ice cream gives a real punch in flavour. Another favourite was KUNAFE a traditional dessert, presented beautifully with pistachio on top, loved it.

Final Verdict – Gunaydin impressed me in terms of food, service and much more. The food is authentic and has taste of real Turkey in every bite. I loved how seriously they take their food, everything is been made fresh and served with warm smile. I highly recommend Gunaydin if you are looking for authentic Turkish food.
