Urban Bistro – Dubai Media City, Dubai

Delighted to see how Dubai is taking healthy food seriously and many healthy restaurants are already up. Relish a huge spread of heathy, fresh and delightful options at Urban bistro. Perfect to spend lazy afternoon with beautiful water front view and prompt service.

Loved the ambiance, as it has very casual cafe look with wooden furniture inside, i liked the poppy colours used on the tables kept outside. Over all i found the interior is very warm and welcoming. The water front view is surely a plus point in the good weather, loved it

We started with SALTED CARAMEL SMOOTHIE loved the mix of banana, date, maple syrup and almond milk, it was a wholesome jar. To accompany this i tried the TORTILLA CHIPS served with freshly made guacamole and curry ketchup, loved the crispy ness of chips.

In mains my favourite was WILD SEABASS ON PEANUT SOBA panfried sea bass served on the bed of soba noodles tossed in spicy peanut sauce, packed with flavours. I also enjoyed healthy TERIYAKI CHICKEN WITH PICKLED MUSHROOM SALAD it was power packed.

The next favourite was RED THAI CURRY we ordered the vegetarian version, not to be missed how beautifully it was presented with rice in the middle and Thai curry around it, coconut milk and other ingredients left pleasant taste in mouth. Very delicious.

Now the time for desserts and we ordered was PEACH CHEESE CAKE i loved the mini version of it, the cheese cake was slightly sour and sweet peach was cutting the sourness, also NUTELLA PIE was a cute round pie filled with Nutella with a hint of caramel, loved it.

Final Verdict – Over all a perfect place to enjoy healthy yet delicious food with refreshing view and vast and interesting variety available in the menu. Prompt service made this visit more enjoyable.
