Marco’s – Dubai is coming up with many new eatery. Marco’s, a newly open Italian eatery is already talk of the town because of authentic and home style cooked Italian food they serve.Tucked in Wafi mall, Umm Hurair, Marco’s is my new favourite spot. Here is my take on food and ambiance.

Comfortable, warm, rustic interiors is the highlight of Marco. I would rather call it romantic and comfortable. Wooden tables are set with basil and rosemary plants makes this place more live and beautiful. The menu design is interesting as it is small but has many options to go for.

I started with BLOODY MARY a perfect blend of tomato juice and vodka is refreshing and very soothing. To accompany this a basket of freshly baked bread with vinegar was served. We started with BURRATA DI ALTAMURA served in Mediterranean style with three types tomatoes.

The star of the show was GNOCCHI dipped in bolognese cheese sauce and walnuts, how well the flavours been infused in Gnocchi. Perfectly shaped NAPOLI PIZZA without anchovies was a perfect treat with oregano, mozzarella and olives, perfect crust and full of flavours.

The grill section in the menu looks very inviting and I couldn’t stop myself trying MEDITERRANEAN RED PRAWNS with savoury black pepper sauce loaded and grilled with perfection, the prawns were succulent and cooked to the perfection, this is a must for seafood lovers.

It was time to indulge in some desserts and by default we ordered TIRAMISU moist cake layered with hint of coffee and served with fresh berries, loved it. CHOCOLATE SALAMI MIXED WITH COOKIES would be a treat for chocolate lovers, berries cut the sweetness in bites.

Final Verdict – If you are looking for simple, authentic, Heart warming, home style Italian food then Marco’s is your stop. The pleasantly warm, romantic and rustic interiors gives a very Italian vibes. The food and service will surely impress you.
