Sanjeev Kapoor need no introduction and his name is associated with The Yellow Chilies. This fact always make me intrigued to visit and enjoy food here. They already have three outlets in Dubai and this one is located in JLT which is a hub of many good restaurants, my visit was very flavourful
The best part about this outlet is that a good water view in front which can be enjoyed in good weather. The outlet is small and ambiance is nothing fancy but very comfortable. Menu has many good options to try as they offer many variety is vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Service is prompt
We started with their drink called PERU PYALA it is guava based drink with chilli and salt in glass rim, loved it. I also enjoyed BLUE SPARKLE with blue curacaro, lychee juice and lemonade. In starters TANDOORI FISH IN GREEN MARINATION was a melt in mouth fish, very delicious
Moving ahead in mains we tried MURGH SURVEDAAR this delicious gravy is made of pepper and fresh coriander, and also it was going good with the BUTTER NAAN they served. Also in veg PANEER TAKATAK is spicy red gravy with tomato and cube sized cottage cheese, PYAZ MIRCHI KI ROTI was good combination
In desserts they have many delicious options to end meal but they served their newly introduced dessert KAHWA JAMUN it has kick of coffee and topped with pine nuts, it was a new twist in the dessert. RAS MALAI was also served on our table, but i will choose Kahwa jamun over it.
Final Verdict – The Yellow chillies never disappoint me in terms of food and quality. Indian food has many flavours and here food had all the flavours intact. Service is prompt and the view is amazing too.
