Four Points by Sheraton, Bur Dubai, already has many good restaurants and it already has opened its first Italian restaurant, Ricetta. Chef Alex Sebastianutti, the head chef, believe in pleasing guests with home-cooked fine dining at the luxury property in the heart of Dubai’s historic district. My recent visit for the preview was very flavourful and amazing.
Ricetta features the authentic ambience of an Italian trattoria with mustard yellow walls, endearing red and white checkered tablecloths and black and white posters featuring scenes from Italy. Bread baskets display the bread specialty of the day along with accompaniments including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, marinara and sun-dried tomatoes. Even raw pasta is on display.
Ricetta’s dishes are made with bona fide Italian ingredients to enhance the flavors of home-cooked Italian meals. We tried BURRATA ON TOAST it was a very light and delicious. VEGETARIAN PIZZA and NON VEGETARIAN pizza both tasted good, but because of the excess of cheese I couldn’t enjoy it much. PASTA tasted really very good and delicious, GNOCCHI and drink called SHERLI TEMPLE was good.
The desserts section is always very delicious and when you are in an Italian restaurant, some common names come in your mind but a very different dessert STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU was served to us, this dessert was just amazing as it was good twist to the dish. Apart from this CLASSIC TIRAMISU was served to us which was my favourite amongst all, BLUEBERRY PANACOTTA was served in cute bowls.
“Italian cooking calls for great recipes, high quality, authentic ingredients and a good dose of passion. You can be sure you’ll find the heartiest homemade meals at Ricetta which will remind you of your grandmother’s cooking, the kind of meals that intrigue, satisfy and keep guests returning for more. High end comfort food at its finest,” explains Chef Sebastianutti.
