It was my first time i tried Nikkei cuisine At its simplest, Nikkei cuisine is the cooking of the Japanese diaspora. Japanese immigrants have found themselves in a variety of cultures and contexts, but have often maintained a loyalty to their native cuisine. Nikkei cuisine is mix of Japanese and Peruvian.

The ambiance of Aji is just splendid, loved the live and dark tone colours all around. The restaurant is divided in to different sections like bar, dine in and outdoor seating. The bar section has amazingly painted wall and in the dine in section the ambiance is more inspired by the Japanese look. Service is prompt

Aji offers amazing options in the menu and i tried here was AJI BENTO BOX in which some delectable dishes are served together. started with AJI EDAMAME with red curry, soy sauce, sriracha, and many moreLoved the taste. CEBICHE LIMENO with sea bass was a very tempting dish for my taste buds

One box had Nigiri options, I enjoyed the most was CALIFORNIA MAKI, it was made perfect. Then SHAKE TRUFFLE NIGIRI and AJI STYLE NIGIRI tasted just perfect and i loved the freshness. AJIRU SALAD with lettuce, baby carrot, cabbage, duck confit, orange and tamarind. Loved the freshness of orange in it

This amazing Nikkei meal should end with some good dessert so we chose CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE with dark chocolate, lucuma, matcha ice cream and crispy quinoa. The flavours made more intense with each ingredients on platter. Matcha ice cream surely completes the dessert, loved it

final Verdict – Aji is known for bringing very new Nikkei cuisine in the town, which is mix of Japanese cuisine and Peruvian cuisine. I am sure the flavours are very familiar but each and every dish has very intense and strong flavours. The ambiance is beyond perfect and the service is prompt, highly recommended.
