Spiceklub – Mankhool, Dubai

New places in town surely makes me intrigued to visit and try. When i heard about Spiceklub I already made an impressive image with the Molecular gastronomy impact they must be giving to the food, as i heard real good experiment stories and the extraordinary twist in food. My experience was one of the best

Ambiance is the most outstanding feature of this place. One colored wall with kaleidoscope style wall art done  The base color is gray and in ceiling charming kites are hanging with tire used to hang the dropping lights in the center row. Loved the colorful cushions, and one odd chair concept. Service is prompt.

We started with KALA KHATTA MOJITO the soda is poured in front of you, which fascinates you the most, taste is no less, perfectly seasoned glass of kala khatta. The another drink which you can eat COCONUT WATER with rose caviar and saffron on top, a guilt free drink where coconut water is frozen with help of nitrogen.

The starters keep pouring in on table and the first one was PAPDI CHAAT where the yogurt is served as soft spherical and when it burst in your mouth, its delightful. The other starter is my most favorite STUFFED POTATO stuffed cheese inside with chili caviar and tomato caviar, served in smoky platter, every bite has unique flavour.

The food trip didn’t stop here, GALAWATI KEBAB was served with spicy onion on top. The kebab literally melts in your mouth with a strong spice. It has some amazing flavours for sure. The other one was BEETROOT SPHERE stuffed beetroot ball topped with beetroot foam. Presentation is very ravishing and it tasted delectable.

Starters were unique and in contrast the main course was simple and with subtle flavours. We were served MOTI PANEER BUTTER MASALA sweet (but not too sweet) tasted great with GARLIC BUTTER NAAN. Also the DAAL MAKHANI tasted good with the STEAMED RICE they served, i enjoyed the simplicity of the meal.

In dessert we were served BUBBLING KULFI, boring right? No!! The presentation of this dessert was just superb. As the kulfi was done with liquid nitrogen broken small pieces and the sides were rabri, rose caviar, berry compote, salted caramel, chocolate sauce. Mix your favorite flavour and enjoy the dessert, very delicious.

Final Verdict – I have no single complaints with this place. I will call it ‘Paradise for vegetarians’ with fascinating molecular gastronomy and divine taste of food is surely make people excited to try this place. Loved how Jain and non-Jain chutney served in cutting tea glasses. To sum up, highly recommended.
