Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines as it has lot of spices and unique strong flavours. When it comes to Mexican cuisine i make sure i try it first. Little Mexico is located in saadiyat island which is actually a very beautiful place in itself, coming here from city is surely a beautiful long drive.

As the name says, it is a cute little Mexican eatery with amazing colors splash in every corner. Some twinkle lights, colorful furniture and beautiful detailed authentic wall art, make this place very vibrant. In the evenings its a place to bring your family and spend good time, service is prompt.

They offer complimentary NACHOS with dip. We were served with RE FRIED BEANS, GUACAMOLE, TOMATO SALSA and BEAN SALSA, loved the combination of spicy and beans on nachos. When here try MEXICAN SODA which is flavoured soda all the way from Mexico, available in different flavours.

We started with CHAYOTE a very refreshing salad with tomato, onion, coriander and fresh chili, the dressing was very light but very flavourful, loved it. The other very nteresting combination generously served to us was NOPALITOS cactus, bell pepper combination with light dressing, nice.

Moving ahead we were served MOLLETES open faced sandwich with re fried beans, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo salsa with mango, loved the sweet tangy flavours bursting in every bite. SHREDDED CHEESE TACOS with pico de gallo, re fried beans and salsa, simple yet very delectable, very filling.

In the end i surely look forward for the desserts, and Mexican desserts are very delicious. We were served CHURROS WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE the churros were delicious. The other dessert was FLAN traditional creme caramel with orange hint, loved every bite of it as it was made with perfection.

Final Verdict – The food is surely very fresh, served with generous quantity and best quality. The parent company is ‘Little Group’ which is coming up with some other ventures under them soon in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As per the quantity the prices are moderate, and service is prompt.
