Street food is that it is everywhere, and each city has its specialty. Nowadays street food is a trendy treat that has been reinvented by top chefs. Vicolo means lane way in Italian, and Vicolo serves Italian street food and this name could be the best for this restaurant. My recent experience here was full of authentic and delectable flavors
Interior is very alluring and impressive. It literally feels like you are walking in Italian street, beautiful, bright and enchanting. Wooden tables and cute bicycles with flower baskets gives very fresh and different look over all. Service is really impeccable, when we entered the place was full, still we got our placed order on time
We started with WATERMELON MOJITO it was made really very nice, refreshing. BRUSCHETTA is served very differently where the tomato and basil topping is served separately along with bread, choose as much as topping you want, simple and delicious. ALFREDO WITH SPAGHETTI was creamy and very delicious, yummy
GRILLED CHICKEN WITH SALAD tasted amazing, chicken breast marinated and grilled till done well, simple green salad complimented it beautifully. BURRATTA was served in the bed of bread and tomato, it was an interesting combination, it was good in taste. VEGETARIANO is vegetarian sandwich, it was fresh and delicious.
When in Italian restaurant one dessert is must and that is TIRAMISU it was served in cute mason jar with marscapone and coffee layers are visible, after one bite it is difficult to stop yourself for another bite, delicious. From all day breakfast section we tried NUTELLA CREPE, i wish there would have been more nutella filled in, but still yummy.
Final Verdict – Italian cuisine is very interesting since the flavors are simple yet delectable. I was there when the restaurant was almost full since it was lunch hour, but they manage to deliver quick service to each table, hospitality at it’s best. I must say that for the best reflection of Italian street food, Vicolo is a place you must try.
