The high tea idea has taken over in the town. The origin of high tea is nearly from 19th century, where with tea some light bites, sandwiches, cakes and scones are served. In Dubai this trend is taken over like storm and even i got chance to try High tea experience Al Bayt, The palace.

Al Bayt is located in the hotel lobby, the interiors gives a very unique and lavish feel with touch of some Arabian and contemporary look. Outside view is splendid and very peaceful. The seating are very comfortable and the service is very prompt and staff serve you with happy faces.

Since it was a afternoon tea some savory and sweet bites were available with unlimited tea from the menu. In the savory items i tried i liked STILTON BLUE CHEESE QUICHE it was mini quiche with blue cheese filling, also SHRIMPS AND BELL PEPPER CAKE was really very good.

In the sweet section the desserts were beautifully decorated with edible flowers , i liked simple and delicious CARROT CAKE it was made in perfect shape. STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING was a perfectly made dessert, gooey and yum. CHOCOLATE CAKE was perfect in taste, yummy and tasty.

Final Verdict – Apart from these mini bites i tried MOROCCAN TEA it was perfectly brewed and good in taste. Verity is huge and the setup is done well. The soothing music playing behind is something makes you feel relaxed with the cup of tea. A perfect place to catch up with your besties.
