Flavors of Mexican and Peruvian cuisine is very unique and delectable. Recently i had lovely experience of both the cuisine at Poco Loco. They also serve Latin American cuisine and their mock tails are just superb. This place actually stand out among st many other restaurants around JBR.
Ambiance of this restaurant is contemporary yet very authentic and wooden furniture make it look more rustic. Spacious outdoor and indoor seating with beautiful sea view makes this place perfect. They have two very spacious floors and service is very prompt and the staff is very courteous.
We started with refreshing mock tail CHICHA MORADA authentic Peruvian drink made from purple corn, fruits and spices, delectable. The other drink was CUZCO COOLER blood orange soda with complemented with passion fruit, cranberry and lime juice. Both of them had unique but subtle and superb flavors
Drinks session didn’t stop here we were served one of the authentic Mexican rice based drink HORCHATA with hints of dates, cinnamon and almonds, highly recommended drink. MANGO AND PASSION FRUIT MARGARITA had very subtle flavors but tasted so divine. Their drinks should not be missed
To start with we ordered SOFT CRAB TACOS, fried crabs stuffed in soft tacos, delicious and yummy. Along with it we ordered POCO LOCO GUACAMOLE delicious creamy avocado with tortilla chips. when in a Mexican restaurant CORN COB is a must, so we ordered one and satisfyingly finished it, must have.
Moving ahead we had TIGER PRAWN, served with chives, perfectly grilled prawns served with mix green salad, delectable. Another dish was QUESADILLA RUSTICA served with four cheese, and tangy spicy chicken shreds with roasted tomato and chimichurri, star of the show, mouthwatering and delectable.
Now my favorite part of the meal desserts, we had classic and well known CHURROS with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce, simply amazing. Other and my favorite dessert was TRES LECHES this Mexican dessert has vanilla sponge cake soaked in milk caramel and sprinkled with toasted hazelnut, must have dessert.
