Mahec means fragrance, Indian cuisine has many spices and fragrances included and this can be the foremost name for any Indian restaurant. I was intrigued to visit here as i was just impressed by the name. This property is huge and has around 15 restaurants. So when you are here choices might perplex you.
Ambiance is very contemporary and everything has a very classy touch to it. Blue color is used in almost every corner of the restaurant. It has full open bar for the patron and right hand side there is a lavish pub seating to enjoy drinks. On left hand side they have kept very fine dine concept. Service is prompt and staff is friendly.
I started with very interesting cocktail MEHEC CHILI MOJITO, regular mojito with twist of green chili in it, interesting right? But for sure i will go back again and again for it, very nice. The other signature cocktail i tried was MASALA GIN JALJEERA our very own Indian jaljeera with a twist of gin, it was simply wow, i loved both of them.
Appetizers were very interesting too and we started with BHARWAN MUSHROOM piece of mushroom was so soft that it literally melted in mouth, served with tamarind chutney and the combination was great. Another very interesting MALAI BROCCOLI marinated in cream cheese and spices and cooked in clay oven, loved it.
One of there signature dish PANEER ASPARAGUS ROLL thin slice of paneer filled with spicy potato and asparagus rolled and cooked in clay oven, very interesting. LAMB SEEKH KEBAB was so succulent and full of flavors. MALAI CHICKEN was also very soft and delicious. I liked how beautifully they presented all this in one platter.
To clean taste pellet they served very smooth ROSE AND LITCHI SORBET rose foam on the top of litchi sorbet, delectable it was. After this now main course our table was full of many authentic dishes like BUTTER CHICKEN very authentic and delectable. PALAK PANEER and DAL MAKHANI was going superb with ASSORTED BREADS they served.
Now the best part is dessert, they kept it very simple yet authentic by serving GULAB JAMUN and MALAI KULFI platter. Gulab jamun literally melts in your mouth, malaim kulfi bought all my childhood memories back. BOMBAY PUDDING which is there own creation will surely steal your heart with such innovation.
Final Verdict – I was overwhelmed with such lovely experience in Mahec. From food to service everything made me happy. You can visit this place in afternoon for lunch and in the evening for some drinks and enjoy Indian music playing in the back ground. To all the food lovers in highly recommend Mahec.
