Memory lane – I was already intrigued to visit this place when it become talk of the town. This restaurant is owned by Kripalani family, where every member of the family is passionate about food, and that can be seen in everything here. As i said i was very fascinated to visit here, my experience was memorable too.

First of all the ambiance, its very classy and plants inside the restaurant walls took it into whole new level. While you enter the restaurant you can see the open kitchen where you can see chefs preparing food. A remarkable stamp was already left in my heart as i was welcomed with warm smiles from the staff when i entered.

In this hot weather a good and invigorating mock tail is required, i chose KRYPTONITE from the set menu, which was refreshing mix of kiwi and papaya, perfect blend of all ingredients. The other one was LAVENDER MOJITO which attracted me the most to try and it was worth try, BLUE HAWAII and VERY BERRY MOJITO is worth try too.

Starters were heavy for my appetite but very delicious. SALT AND PEPPER MUSHROOMS was the star of the show, mushroom cubes coated with better and fried till crispy, very delicious. TOFU THAI CHILI, i never had this beautiful version of tofu, very well prepared. BABY POTATO SATAY from streets of Thailand with peanut sauce was delectable.

Two very beautiful looking appetizers were VEG LOTUS and CHICKEN LOTUS, flower shape canopy stuffed with light stuffing. MALAI KEBAB was mouthwatering and was very well marinated and chicken was tender. In this lines PANEER TIKKA was soft and well marinated and the TANDOORI CHICKEN had authentic flavors to it.

In main course BUTTER CHICKEN with lots of butter was delectable in every bite, i could not break the chicken pieces easily though, gravy tasted delicious. SARSO WALI BHINDI was heavy gravy based fried okra on top was a new thing for me. For vegetarians PANEER MAKHANI was real treat, loved the MIXED NAAN BASKET, wonderful.

Final Verdict – Memory lane serves food that is authentic and with fusion as well. Surely to recreate new memories this place is a worth try. I liked every dish they served on table, service is prompt and staff is courteous. The view of marina is something make this place very romantic, specially in winters. This place is highly recommended.
