The Californian restaurant is a part of Dusit Thani hotel that serves International buffet. I heard real great reviews about this place. I personally like international buffets as you get to choose many different dishes from around the world. My experience here was also full of flavors and i also enjoyed beautiful view.

Ambiance of this place very much inspired by English backyard. I simply loved the use of yellow color in entire restaurant. And you have a slight look of Burj Khalifa from the broad window. It is not that straight but view surely add plus point here. They have comfortable and broad seating and specious tables.

They have salad counter, cheese and bread counter, main course counter and dessert counter. SALAD options are huge and along with ASSORTED CHEESE it gives you great option to go for. JACKET POTATO is something you should not miss. Main course has so many options, but FISH BIRYANI is delectable.

The grill counter is full of many options like chicken, beef, seafood and many more. I simply loved everything i tried here. GRILLED CHICKEN was simple with just salt and pepper but very delicious. The marination was done perfectly, also SEAFOOD GRILL was very delectable and flavorful, loved it.

Dessert counter had many variety and everything tasted so good. I like the most was MINI BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE, it was beautifully presented and tasted divine. My another favorite was MINI LIME MERINGUE PIE very delicious. CHOCOLATE CAKE and FRUIT CAKE were moist and made with perfection.

Final Verdict – I liked the simplicity of The Californian restaurant. Perfect location, prompt service and delicious food, specially grills (I am drooling while writing), what else do you want in a restaurant? Since it is located on 24th floor the view is spectacular. I highly recommend The Californian.
