Logma – Al Safa, Dubai

IMG_3711Logma –  This restaurant was in my list since long and I seriously wanted to try the food out here, very recently I was invited by the management of Logma to try the Emarati cuisine they serve. Emarati cuisine is blend of middle eastern and Asian food, it has balance authentic spices and method of cooking. Logma serves it in a bit modern way.

Ambience is very contemporary and very specious. I liked how beautifully modern look has been infused with little touch of traditional things like lamps hanging on the wall. The menu also gives you reflection of traditional and authentic dishes. Service is very prompt and the service staff was taking care of everything on the table. I was overwhelmed

Since it was a tasting session I tried many dishes from the menu, and all the dishes has its own flavors and taste, here is my journey of Emarati food with Logma

We started with drinks LOGMA SHAKE, it was perfect mix of dates, honey and banana, all of it blended so well. The another drink was PASSION OF ARABIA, was mix of passion fruits and pineapple, for me it was little sour. The another refreshing drink we tried was ATLANTIS, very refreshing mix of lychee, passion fruit, mint and lime

To begin food ride we had SAMBOOSA CHEESE, triangles filled with cream cheese mixed with oman chips, this is must have. I tried LOGMA FRIES it was perfectly crispy and topped with some special spices, delectable. In salad I tried SAFFRON CHICKEN this was very refreshing and delicious salad, with chicken cooked in saffron and fresh baby greens

In main course FALAFEL KHAMEER SANDWICH was made with perfection I could taste each and every flavors of filling. CHICKEN SHAWARMA perfectly with chicken strips along with other fillings. From rice section we tried LOGMA SHRIPM RICE, the rice was flavoured with many spices, and prawns were cooked in it, very authentic and delectable

Now the best part is desserts, I tried almost everything from this section CHEBAB KATAYEF, pancakes perfectly stuffed with mascarpone cheese and dates. LUGAIMAT is traditional dumplings served with Nutella and date syrup. RAHASH FONDANT dark chocolate fondant with rahash on top. DATE PUDDING and KARAK CRÈME BRULEE tasted delectable

Final Verdict – I randomly chose dishes from the menu and all of them tasted just divine. Don’t forget to try the traditional Emarati coffee they serve. All the desserts were made with perfection. Logma has kept the traditional flavors of this cuisine. From ambiance to food, I liked everything here, I highly recommend Logma.
