Cajun Potato

This recipe can have many alterations and changes as per your choices, making Cajun sauce is very easy if you make with ready made Cajun seasoning.

IMG_3510I like to make on weekend brunch for starter, this is delicious and can be made with baked potato, but i like the fried version as it tastes much tasty.


Baby Potato – 8 to 10

Oil – for Frying

For Cajun Sauce

Mayonnaise – Half Cup

Fresh Cream – 1 Tablespoon

Garlic – 1 Tablespoon (Minced)

Onion – 1 Tablespoon (Chopped)

Red Pepper Powder – 1 Teaspoon

Oregano – 1 Teaspoon

Cumin Powder – 1 Teaspoon

Salt – To taste

Spring Onion – Chopped (For Garnish)

Fresh Coriander – Chopped (For Garnish)


First par boil the potato, then fry potato in oil, keep aside when done.

Now in a bowl mix Mayonnaise, fresh cream, minced garlic, red pepper powder, oregano, cumin powder, black pepper and salt, mix well now add finally chopped onion.

Place fried potato on serving dish top with Cajun sauce, garnish with chopped spring onion and chopped coriander, serve immediately.
