Quinoa is one of very popular healthy food. It is gluten free food and full rich in many nutrients like protein, vitamin B and fiber. There are many ways to cook quinoa.
Cooking method of Quinoa is very similar to rice. Most liked way of quinoa is in salad and other healthy dishes. I like Indian style quinoa, as you have many flavors, lets start
Quinoa – 1 cup
Onion (chopped) – 1 medium size
Tomato – 1 medium
Carrot (chopped) – 2 tablespoons
French beans (chopped) – 2 tablespoons
Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Garam masala – half teaspoon
First start with cooking the quinoa, to make fluffy quinoa, combination should be 1 cup quinoa and 2 cups of water. Once done keep aside.
Now heat oil in a pan add chopped onion, after it changes color to golden brown add roughly chopped tomato saute for 2 to 3 minutes, now add chopped carrot and french beans, let it cook for a while, add red chili powder, salt and garam masala powder.
Add cooked quinoa, mix everything together, cook for another 2 minutes, serve.
