There are many brunches i have tried in the town, this is one of those place left a very strong mark on my taste pallet. I loved everything about this place food, service, ambiance everything is of very good quality. Anise is located in Hotel intercontinental in lobby level.

The ambiance is very calm and the theme is fine dining. Like any other restaurant dedicated totally for the buffets, and buffet means you will actually get many varieties to dig in. If you sit outside you can get beautiful view of helipad and blue water. When you enter, in the entry itself the food journey starts.

I will mention again that you have many varieties to go for like Indian, Asian, and Mediterranean, so make sure you come empty stomach, here I am mentioning the best from what I had

AVOCADO SHOTS i liked those cute tiny shot glasses are kept on the display, they were looking really tempting, I still didn’t get what added the tanginess in it, but I liked the taste all together, the consistency was thick and you have small straw to sip it, good one !!

ARABIC DELICACIES this includes babaganoush, pita bread, hummus, assorted bread and many other, all of them tasted really good, along with this in the same section you have options of salads with different sauce also quinoa and many more, just pick things slowly as you have main course ahead 🙂 !!

CHICKEN KEBAB they have different variety of kebabs, like fish, lamb, but what I liked the most was Chicken kebab, it was cooked perfectly with the marination and easy to break, and in the plate they have garlic accompaniment as side, was going really nice with that

FISH AND CHIPS deep fried fish with chips, I mean who will not like it, perfect and very stomach filling, just make sure after having this you will have to work a lot in the gym, but for this delicious dish any time, thumbs up to fish and chips, must have !!

BLUEBERRY CHEESE CAKE I like cheese cakes when it contains less sugar and you get the taste of cheese and the flavor as well, the cheese cake was fresh and very tasty, they are mini so you can taste many other, as well all the cheese cakes were fantastic !!

Actually in desert they have so many varieties like Arabic date pudding, tarts, pineapple fritters, different kind of cheese cakes, with so many accompaniments along with chocolate fondant for your taste buds, so make sure that you have space in your stomach to enjoy all that

Final Verdict – without any doubt we all liked the buffet and most amazing thing is the variety they have for a person, after trying all this we missed the Chinese and Indian counter, so I guess second time visit is required.
